Video: Left 4 Dead 2 Demo (SP, Advanced) [VGPT]

Left 4 Dead 2 looks like it's going to be pretty good based on the demo, I only have two real complaints so far:
1) The original survivors are gone. I like the new survivors, but it's just not the same.
2) The game is shipping with a bare bones 5 campaigns, which Left 4 Dead showed me is just way too little initial content for this series for the huge time spans that Valve expects us to wait between content releases, but hopefully Valve won't be so terrible with the new content this time around with the series. Though it's worth a mention that I was never a big fan of Versus, so maybe the wait wasn't as bad for other Left 4 Dead players.

Left 4 Dead 2 pre-purchased

Well I just pre-purchased Left 4 Dead 2. Here's to hoping it's at least as good as the first one, it does look pretty freakin' sweet from this video that I found on the Steam Forums.

It still pains me to know that Bill, Francis, Louis and Zoey will probably be lost in the transition to L4D2, but I can still hope that L4D won't completely die, or that VALVe will eventually patch in support to play L4D content from within L4D2, giving people that own both games a good reason to play with both sets of characters.

Anyway, the demo for pre-purchasers releases in 3 days (Oct 27th) and then on Nov 3rd for people that haven't already bought the game, and I'll no doubt be recording the demo for my YouTube account Smacker626CCTV in case you don't have access to the demo.

That's all I have for now, later.

Video: Left 4 Dead - No Mercy campaign MP highlights

Video Info: 26:38 in 3 parts.

I've finally started off my Smacker626CCTV YouTube channel by uploading some highlights from a multiplayer session of Left 4 Dead's No Mercy campaign that I recorded all the way back on December 8th of 2008, the real highlights being the voice chat from Lord Sojar and razielmgs, I highly suggest you check it out if you want a good laugh.

On a related note, I've been waiting to play Dead Space for a long time now, not wanting to start it until I finished editing this video and doing a backup of my data (37 SL DVD+R's lol), and I've just finished both of those, so hopefully a blind (first time) playthrough of Dead Space will be hitting the channel soon as well.

Disclaimer: This video contains strong language. We were joking around, not trying to offend anyone :).
